About Energy Technology
Bachelor of Energy (New)
Energy is a key facet of society, with a strong focus on green technology, renewable energy and smart uses of energy. The Bachelor of Energy is designed to meet the needs to today’s and future societies by training you in the facets of energy. This degree replaces the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering by moving the field in the future: energy.

Degree focus: renewable energy and smart measuring
You will receive a broad education built on five pillars of energy with a constant focus on renewable energy and smart-energy measurement.
Competency-based education in a dynamic learning environment
Guided, project-based training begins in the very first semester.

After the third year, you are ready for a great career as a professional in the energy sector.
Learning mirrors reality: a combination of projects, theory, exercises, lab and assignments completed in a professional, social environment. Each semester, two half-days per week are dedicated to a team project.

Energy is a rapidly growing technology sector. The Bachelor of Energy gives you the chance to expand and impact this sector. There are a wide variety jobs in the energy field. You can choose the one that best suits you.
Some examples are:
designing and maintaining power plants offering the renewable energy choices to customers
overseeing an energy management system
choosing appropriate lighting and energy-efficient methods without sacrificing comfort
installing and programming home automation and building management energy systems
consulting on the safety of energy installations
developing new public and private energy networks with smart meters
