ECTS grading scale
Examination and assessment results are expressed in many different grading systems in Europe. In order to assist institutions in interpreting the grades awarded tot ECTS students, an ECTS grading scale has been developed. The ECTS grade provides information of the student’s achievements in addition to the institutional grade but does not replace the local grade. The ECTS grading scale is based on the combined use of appropriate keywords and numerical definitions intended to assist the transparency of the keywords.
