Admission to KH Kempen

Procedure

For full-degree students

Students wishing to do their full studies at KHKempen will have to send in a dossier to the student administrator, Mr Herman Lievens before the 1st February;

The dossier consists of the application form, duly filled in , as well as the documents needed for enrolment.

Only original documents or notarized documents will be accepted. “Notarized” means that the documents must be authenticated by an official authority of your country, the educational institution that issued them or the local Belgian diplomatic office. Add also a document explaining the grading system of your country (e.g. comparing the grades to numeric score). Copies of notarized copies will not be accepted.

The application dossier can only be accepted as admissible if the following documents are
added to the dossier:

The Application form
The diplomas obtained
A translation of the diplomas in Dutch, French, German or English.
A certificate proving that the diploma gives access to higher education in the country where the diploma was obtained. Also this document should be translated in one of the languages mentioned above.
If the applicant resides in Belgium, he has to show according to which procedure he has arrived in Belgium:
1. A visa on the basis of acceptance at a Belgian educational institution
2. A visa obtained via an organisation recruiting students abroad

In order to certify this a copy of the passport and the visa will be taken and added to the dossier.
The applicant is kindly asked to provide a recent picture of himself/herself to be added to the dossier.

NARIC (National Recognition Information Centre) will be asked to check the validity of the diplomas. This may take up to one month.

If the application is accepted , the student will receive a letter of admission to enrol at KHKempen.

Administration costs: 50 euros for accepted applications. This sum will be refunded when the student starts his studies at KHKempen and pays his first enrolment fee.

For Chinese Students

Your application must include the original certificate confirming that the Chinese papers have been pre-checked by the Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) in Beijing. You can find more information on this at:
