Via ILL, books and photocopies of articles from other scientific libraries in Europe can be requested.

Costs:

For each request, you pay € 0,50. If the requested documents arrive, this fee will be added to the total cost. If, for any reason, the documents cannot be delivered, this fee will not be refunded.

Per book a contribution of € 4,00 is charged.

The following regulations apply for photocopies:
an article less than 16 pages costs €
0,40 per page, an article from 16 up to and including 40 pages costs € 6,00,
an article from 41 up to and including 50 pages costs € 7,00,
an article from 51 up to and including 50 pages costs € 8,00, etc.

This contribution does not cover the total costs. KHK staff and students are charged a reduced rate. External users, however, have to pay the normal rate.

When you have paid for copies that are sent to you, they will become yours. You can consult the books you have requested in the library for three weeks at most.

Procedure:

You can ask for an ILL form at the counter. You have to carefully fill in all the details with reference to the chosen book or article. Our ILL colleague looks after your request and informs you when the requested books or documents are available.
